Did I get your attention? Yes, the name of this hotel is really the Tickle Pick Inn.  It is located about 10 minutes south of Carmel off of Highway 1.  Perched up on a cliff it has absolutely amazing views!  Here’s one.

We were in suite #4. The living area has plenty of seating, a desk, fireplace and kitchenette.  The entire wall opposite the door is composed of floor-to-ceiling windows, including a door to the balcony.

The balcony was huge.  If you look closely at the picture below – on the right.  You will see the roof of the building below.  They decorated it with permanent grass and potted plants as to not be an eyesore.  How smart is that?

The bedroom was cozy with a great, comfy bed!

Complimentary wine and cheese is served nightly. They also have a fantastic breakfast spread.  Room service will deliver it to your room if you call.  Look at the goodies.

There is seating inside or outside on the terrace.  Why anyone would sit inside with a view like this is beyond me.  The terrace is even heated.  It is impossible to take a bad picture.

Okay, they had this phrase everywhere.  On signage, coffee mugs, matches.  I kept thinking I needed to look it up.  I assumed it was written in Latin.  Well, it is not Latin or any other language.  It is a puzzle.  Can you figure it out?

Finally, here is a sunset. The inn’s name is fitting don’t you think? It left me feeling tickle pink.
