For breakfast I went downstairs to Texas Spice. The decor is really refreshing. I would call it repurposed Texana. Upscale rustic. I felt very welcomed and comfy. There is a great patio with plenty of seating and this glorious private dining area. Impressive! 

I struggled on what to have for breakfast. They have an incredible breakfast buffet including yogurt, fruit, cereal, bacon, sausage, and made-to-order omelets. I finally chose the French Toast. I am glad I did. It was scrumptious. It was made with brioche breaded in crushed corn flakes. It arrived piping hot. I slathered it with butter and drizzling syrup. Each bite was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was applewood smoked, thick and savory. I washed it all down with a great cup of coffee and a cranberry juice. Good grub!
