I recently stopped in Potbelly Sandwich Shop to try a couple of new items. I tried their new soup – Sriracha Black Bean. It is rare that I eat a soup that doesn’t need a little salt or pepper. This was not the case with the sriracha black bean soup. It needed NOTHING. This soup was right amount of spicy, with bits of tomato, onion, green pepper and savory black beans. AND it is vegan.

I also tried the Skinny T-K-Y sandwich. The Skinny takes the thin-cut white (my choice) or multigrain bread and fills it with with 30% less turkey and swiss cheese. Stop! I know what your thinking. “Thirty percent less meat and cheese!? Thanks, but no thanks.” Well, don’t you worry. When you finish this sandwich you won’t feel cheated one bit. I asked for the skinny dressed with mayo (so much for skinny!), lettuce, tomato, pickle, and Italian seasoning. This sandwich was spot on and seriously just the right amount.
